Emily Huang is the Senior Global Data Manager for Charles River Laboratories’ microbial identification business. She leads the Accugenix^® microbial data review team to support identification data analysis of eight global laboratories since 2007. Her team processes an average of 1600 sequencing and MALDI identification reports in a day. Emily’s more than 20 year career in genomic research has allowed her to educate customers about the importance of accurate bacterial and fungal identifications for safe pharmaceutical manufacturing.
